Tap Layers guide

This Loopit playable starts with Layers Left: 9,999 and removes one visible layer per tap. Early taps reveal new clothing and costume layers, but the count remains extremely high.

Loopit Tap Layers starting screen with Layers Left 9999 and stacked clothing.

How to play

  • Open the game and wait for the character with many stacked layers to load.
  • The top text shows Layers Left: 9,999.
  • Tap the visible clothing or costume area to remove one layer.
  • The counter drops by one for each successful tap.
  • Early layers reveal different outfits such as armor, poncho, bear, and jacket pieces.
  • The game did not show a short ending in our sample because the layer target is intentionally very large.

Controls

  • Tap the character body or the visible clothing layer.
  • Use repeated taps in the center of the layered area.
  • Do not tap the bottom Loopit controls or caption area.
  • If a layer drifts off to the side, keep tapping the newly exposed clothing.
  • Watch the Layers Left counter to confirm each tap counted.

Strategy tips

  • Treat this as a patience/clicker game, not a puzzle with a hidden shortcut.
  • Tap the largest visible clothing piece for reliable hits.
  • Use the counter as proof of progress; visual changes may alternate between costumes.
  • Because 9,999 is a huge number, play in short bursts rather than trying to finish in one sitting.
  • If you are making a video, capture the first 10-20 layers because that is where the visual changes are clearest.

Common mistakes

  • Tapping the background instead of the character.
  • Expecting many layers to disappear from one tap.
  • Assuming the outfit sequence means you are close to the end.
  • Ignoring the Layers Left counter.
  • Trying to swipe; tapping is the verified action.
